SOMEONE’S OUT THERE SOMEWHERE
When you’re in your dressing room,
just before the show.
Someone’s out there somewhere,
who’s been feeling low.
Yes, someone’s out there somewhere,
who’s been a little down.
But it won’t be too long,
before she’ll lose her frown.
When you’re on the stage,
hoping to be heard.
Someone’s out there somewhere,
hearing every word.
Yes, someone’s out there somewhere,
listening all the while.
Just the sound of your sweet voice,
is reason for a smile.
When you’re on the road,
in the middle of the night.
Someone’s out there somewhere,
hoping you’re all right.
Yes, someone’s out there somewhere,
wishing you Godspeed.
And praying that you’ll always have,
everything you need.
When you’re all alone,
and feeling sad and blue.
Someone’s out there somewhere,
wishing the best for you.
Yes, someone’s out there somewhere,
sitting in her home.
In fact that very someone,
has written you this poem.
